These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and kriy8 ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of the v8eo video editing service ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any modifications to these terms.

2. Service Description

We provide a client-side video editing platform. All video processing and editing operations are performed locally in your browser. We do not upload, store, or process your video content on our servers.

3. User Data and Privacy

We collect and store only the following information: your email address, name, profile details, and payment tier status. All video editing and processing is performed client-side in your browser. We do not store, access, or have any control over the content you create or modify using our Service.

4. Content Responsibility and Liability

YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL CONTENT YOU CREATE, EDIT, OR MODIFY USING OUR SERVICE. We are not responsible for, do not endorse, and expressly disclaim all liability for any content created or modified through our platform, including but not limited to:

  • Copyright infringement or intellectual property violations
  • Defamatory, offensive, illegal, or harmful content
  • Content that violates any local, state, national, or international law
  • Any damages or consequences arising from your use of the Service

By using our Service, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Service, its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or content you create.

5. Refunds

We offer refunds within 30 days of the original purchase date. Refund requests made after 30 days will not be eligible. Payments are processed by Paddle (paddle.com), our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.

You may cancel your subscription at any time and will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected
  • The Service will meet your requirements or expectations

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE, OUR OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Service, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, consultants, agents, and representatives from any and all third-party claims, losses, liability, damages, and/or costs (including reasonable attorney fees and costs) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another person or entity
  • Any content you create, edit, or distribute using the Service
  • Any false, misleading, or malicious allegations made against us

9. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Create, edit, or distribute illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
  • Use the Service for any unauthorized commercial purpose
  • Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Service

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, and without liability. Upon termination, you will lose access to all features and any saved preferences. No refunds will be issued upon termination.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by us and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to content you create using the Service.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, and you waive any right to a jury trial or class action.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
